Beau Thai Launches May Fundraiser Supporting Ayuda

Throughout the month of May, Beau Thai will host a fundraiser at its Mt. Pleasant and Shaw locations to support Ayuda, a DC-based nonprofit providing legal, social, and language services to low-income immigrants.

Guests will have the option to add a small donation at checkout, with all contributions collected through Toast and transferred directly to Ayuda at the end of the month. Beau Thai will also contribute a $1,000 donation to support the organization’s work.

The fundraiser coincides with upcoming recognition for co-owners Ralph Brabham and Drew Porterfield, who will receive Ayuda’s “Advocate of Change” award at the organization’s annual Standing with Immigrants event on May 14.

While the award is given to Brabham and Porterfield, it reflects a broader commitment that has been central to Beau Thai since its founding — shaped by Aschara’s leadership and carried forward by the team — to support the communities that make up its restaurants.

The fundraiser will run through May 31 at both locations.
